Support Group in Southeast Columbus

I used to attend a bipolar and depression support group when I lived in another state.  It was great because I got to tell what was going on with me.  Everyone had to check in with how their day went.  Almost everyone shared some experience.  At the end of the night I would go home with suggestions of things to try when manic or depressed.

Eventually I ended up in an intensive outpatient program and it was the best thing for me.  I would not have gotten the information had it not been for attending the meeting and talking and sharing with others who have bipolar or who have loved ones with bipolar.

I am going to be starting a support group in Northeast Columbus and Southeast Columbus.  If interested in more information, please email me at:

I finally accepted what people have been telling me. I am full of knowledge and wisdom and I am unforgettable. My word of encouragement since 2015 has been to let others know, despite the waves and ripples in our lives, Life is totally awesome, even with a mental illness. I believe my purpose is to encourage others, advocate for those around me who have not yet found their voice to advocate for themselves and educate those without a mental illness. If for one for minute someone laughs or smiles because of something I said, that is one moment they did not think about mental illness.
