I used to attend a bipolar and depression support group when I lived in another state. It was great because I got to tell what was going on with me. Everyone had to check in with how their day went. Almost everyone shared some experience. At the end of the night I would go home with suggestions of things to try when manic or depressed.
Eventually I ended up in an intensive outpatient program and it was the best thing for me. I would not have gotten the information had it not been for attending the meeting and talking and sharing with others who have bipolar or who have loved ones with bipolar.
I am going to be starting a support group in Northeast Columbus and Southeast Columbus. If interested in more information, please email me at: email@example.com.
