Does anyone else ever

Even though I have been doing very well with managing bipolar symptoms, sometimes mania still creeps in.

Yesterday was one of those days.

I got through the bulk of the day and then the switch came on.  I was off the chart until I realized what was going on.  I was around to  much stimuli.  Now I know another trigger: to much stimuli.

As usual, when I am very manic, I am tired when I come down.  Evidently this had been building for the last few days and climaxed yesterday evening.  Needless to say, I slept good last night.

Does anyone else ever experience erratic behavior when manic?  Does your temper escalate over little things or nothing?  Do you go from upset to anger in a short period of time?

Persistent in pursuit of mental wellness

Author: Fighter

I finally accepted what people have been telling me. I am full of knowledge and wisdom and I am unforgettable. My word of encouragement since 2020 has been to let others know, despite the waves and ripples in our lives, L life is totally awesome, even with a mental illness. I believe my purpose is to encourage others, advocate for those around me who have not yet found their voice to advocate for themselves and educate those without a mental illness. If for one for minute someone laughs or smiles because of something I said, that is one moment they did not think about mental illness.

  1. Mine is exactly the same way. I’ll be cruising along mostly stable and then bam. Everything is too much stimuli. Still trying to figure it all out. Good luck to you !!!
